Descrição do emprego

- To be responsible for negotiating with the suppliers best possible prices for goods to help keep the hotel expenditure to a minimum;
- To obtain three quotations at all times for cash purchases;
- To follow up with all department orders with suppliers and update accordingly;
- To be fully in charge of the day to day purchases for all departments in the hotel;
- To run errands for the Purchasing Manager;
- To update all Purchase Order files;
- To keep the hotel vehicles clean and polished properly at all times;
- To clear imported goods from the airport as and when required;
- To be responsible for following with the Directorate of Customs keeping customs receipts, renewed and updated;
- To purchase urgent items required from other countries when not available locally;
- To be responsible for keeping the receiving area clean and tidy;
- To be responsible for maintaining a good relationship with all suppliers, keeping a polite and professional attitude at all times;
- To comply with the hotels Fire, Health & Safety policies;
- To perform any additional duties as assigned by the Purchasing Manager.

Requisito de emprego

- Bachelor Degree in any field.
- 2 - 3 year experiences in Purchasing Officerposition.
- Good at writing and communication in English.
- Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Have good purchase network
- Friendly, patient, proactive, organized and highly responsible.
- Can work under high pressure
- Good computer skill
