MobileFolk is a boutique software developer based in Toronto. Since 2008, we have produced top-ranking mobile applications with millions of downloads for the iOS and Android platforms. We provide end-to-end services for mobile and web application creation, including requirements gathering, design, application and server-side programming, testing, documentation, launch and future support.

  • You will be based in Hanoi, and will work closely with both the Hanoi team and the Toronto team to ensure high quality for software developed for North American clients.
  • You will be responsible for assisting the Hanoi development team by ensuring that the work delivered meets project requirements.
  • You will work on maintaining quality for existing products, as well as developing testing strategies for brand new products.
  • You will be part of a small team, and your contribution will be essential to the success of each project.
  • You will work on a variety of projects using different technologies, and will be expected to learn and grow with the rest of the team.

Requerimiento de trabajo

Required skills:

  • Passionate about testing and ensuring product is of high quality
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in software testing
  • Good in design test cases and using design techniques in writing test cases/ checklist
  • Experience in Bug Tracking and Test Management Tools (JIRA)
  • Basic understanding of web technologies and mobile application testing
  • Basic knowledge of APIs testing/ DB testing
  • Critical and logical thinking skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Proactive and good at teamwork
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively

Preferred skills:

  • Experienced with (or interested in learning) performance and load testing tools
  • Experience in analyzing project documents, organize and manage software requirement specifications
  • Experienced with (or interested in learning) automated testing tools
  • Ability to self-learn and adapt to new technologies quickly
  • Good problem solving skills and likes tackling challenges
  • Good English skills (listening and speaking)
