THACO AUTO is the first and foremost business of THACO in more than 20 years. After the restructure in 2021, THACO AUTO operates as a sub-holding which is in charge of importing, manufacturing, distributing, retailing vehicles and providing car/motorbike services. Its business model is built on a value chain from Manufacturing (in Chu Lai) to Trading (Distributing & Retailing) different types of vehicles from passenger cars to buses, trucks, specialized vehicles from global brands (KIA, Mazda, Peugeot, BMW, Foton, Mitsubishi Foton), or THACO brand (THACO Bus) and a network of over 383 branded showrooms/service centers across the country.
In Vietnam, THACO AUTO is a leader automaker to meet domestic and international demands. Its Automobile Assembling Manufacturing Complex includes 7 factories which have received technologies from Japan, South Korea and France, are equipped with automated machines and applies digitalization in management.
THACO AUTO distributes different types of vehicles ranging from passenger cars, buses, trucks and specialized vehicles under global brands (KIA, Mazda, Peugeot, BMW, Foton, Mitsubishi Fuso), THACO brand (THACO Bus) at a network of more than 400 showrooms/service centers across Vietnam.
